“Before you do seven skits I’ve made the money for your ten skits in the night” - Yhemolee belittles skit makers
Popular Influencer and Nightlife personality Idowu Adeyemi also known as Yhemolee recently made a controversial statement in an interview with Clout Africa - Uncle Fola is here to give you all the gist so let’s get into it.
Yhemolee was invited for an episode of Clout Viral, a show on Clout Africa YouTube channel alongside Pocolee, Asherkine, Osasbaby and Blackchedder
Their discussion during the interview focused on the perks of being an influencer in Lagos, which led to Yhemolee making his controversial statement about skit makers. He revealed that he is not a full time content creator and does not have time to shoot mere skits.
Yhemolee went ahead to mention names of content creators who produce skits like Sydney talker, Mr Macaroni, Broda Shaggi and Mc lively. He stated and I quote “before you do seven skits I’ve made the money for your ten skits in the night” - Yhemolee is also a Nightlife Enthusiast where he claims to receive 25% of club earnings per night.
This statement by Yhemolee upset a lot of skit makers most especially content creator Carter Efe who has never been shy to call out people on his live videos, Carter efe went live on social media to challenge Yhemolee for making such statement towards skits makers, he mentioned that he charges around fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for just a skit and threatens to cut of yhemolee’s dreadlocks if he ever mentions such controversial statement again.
The issue is still all over social media as the people involved continue to drag each other left, right and center.
